I personally think that the pitch i have already provided you would be very successful due to many reasons. My whole pitch is based around our target audience which from your brief I have learnt is teenagers.
Studying the Blulmar and Katz theory, one key thing 'RIVALRY' will defiantly have is personal identity. Due to our main cast being all teenagers. I personally think that the target audience will relate very well to the well known main characters. This is one of the ways why I think that this new crime drama will work very well with the teenage audience because we want the programme to be based around them.
Also, because my crime drama will be based around teenagers they will individually gain information from RIVALRY, due to some scenarios and lessons people see. The information we give out to the audience is one of the key things because I to keep the audience engaged and keep the audience rating to a high level.
The social interaction side of this uses and gratification theory would've already been mentioned in my pitch. The main way I have decided to promote RIVALRY would be through social networks such as twitter and Facebook.

Mock Exam
Some say that the 3 most important ingredients of a successful Television Crime Drama are Complex Crime Narratives, Engaging Characters and Realistic locations. From my viewing of a different range of Crime Dramas i think that a few of these are very important.
Firstly having Complex Crime narratives for some drama's is the main thing that they may rely on for example Sherlock. The key thing that any drama would want is an engaged audience. Sherlock however is a open complex narrative as it continues on for a series of episodes where the storyline only comes to an end in final episode. The rest of the episodes include cliffhangers which makes the audience start questioning on what might happen in the next episode or why its happened.
Engaing characters is also very important as they are the ones who the audeince are beginning to get to know or even fall in love with. From Vladimir Props character theory, protagonists are seen as very important because they are the ones that we see day in, day out trying to solve different mysteries or crime. For example in Prison Break, Michael Scofield is the Protagonist and many of the female viewers have seen to fall in love with his character because he is very kind, some may even say goodlooking, but it his heroic storyline that catches their attention. He puts himslef in prison to try and save his older brothers life.
Some locations arent seen to be that important for example the sets in CSI or NCIS even though some of the episdoes may be based around true stories. Sherlock catches the eye again it is based around the v ictorian times, however, the whole set of it has been transferred to the 2000's. The mise-en-scene such as some of the houses or offices may be seen around London now and would definitley be recognised.

Filming of INKED.
On the first day of filming we done all of the 'In School' footage that we needed, such as when Lilly jumps off the wall, where Lillys friend explains to us that shes been acting weird and when we first meet the character Lilly in her classroom.
Second Day filming consisted of more shots being taken in school such as the library scene were we see the main item of this story the pencilcase and where Lilly being back outside with the trees and where she is behaving extremly weirdly.
Third Day our film scedule was all over the place and so we decided to do what we thought was the best to do either because of the natural lighting for the outdoor scene or depending on the weather. The third day consisted of being indoors at Shimas house where we filmed her in her bedroom going crazy, screaming and having some time with the pencilcase. We also filmed Lilly having a go at her mum because she had thought she took her pencilcase.
Fourth Day filming consisted of a group of us going to some gardens where we could film all the freaky and scray scenes such as the crazy women with writing on her face; and the extras covered in black from head to toe.
